2026 Travel

Airport


Many visitors fly into Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW), about 75 miles from campus, with convenient service to East Lansing via the Michigan Flyer shuttle. The Michigan Flyer shuttle runs directly from DTW to East Lansing. Travel time is about 2 hours, includes Wi-Fi, and costs around $30 for one-way or $40–50 round-trip.

The closest option is Capital Region International Airport (LAN), just 15–20 minutes from Michigan State University.

The 2026 Annual Meeting will be held primarily in the STEM Building on the Michigan State University campus. 

SABER is securing room blocks at two hotels and in the MSU dorms. Reservation links will be available in the coming months.
